NPOWR's patented technology facilitates the storage and retrieval of audio and visual media elements (individual clips or modules) creating a media-rich system that has the intelligence to respond to a viewer's profile and specific needs by delivering fully assembled, broadcast-quality media programming.

Key intellectual properties include:

• A granted U.S. patent entitled A System for the Automated Generation of Media which represents a breakthrough in the ability to generate customized viewing experiences from a database of stored media assets. A multitude of unique customized programs can be created in milliseconds from a master database populated with appropriate media assets. (See Exhibit B – “NPOWR Database Illustration”).

• Viewer Verification technology based upon granted and pending patents. The methods described in this technology deliver to program providers (such as health insurers, corporate sponsors, distance-learning institutions and advertisers) the ability to verify that viewers have mindfully watched their offerings.

• Building upon the above intellectual properties, additional patent applications have been filed which describe novel and effective targeted advertising, personalized advertising, methods of incentivizing the consumption of advertising, and unique methods for verification of consumption of advertising and other media of several types.

The basic structures and implementation of the NPOWR video-on-demand system are fundamentally novel in approach. The Company's Initial Patent provides patent protection for forty-one separate claims.
